French phrase “tous les jours” translates to “every day,” and that is absolutely how often we want to visit the Holly Springs bakery by the same name. The mouthwatering cases of familiar French favorites, like pain au chocolat, classic baguettes, and flaky croissants offer indulgent treats for any time of day. But some of the offerings are surprising: milk cream bread, red bean donuts, and green tea cloud cake.
TOUS les JOURS’ roots stem from both French and Asian cuisines, combining the foundations of French pastry-making with Asian flavors and techniques to create a fusion menu full of unique textures and tastes. The results are often light, airy, and not overly sweet, with flavor accents that are colorful as well as delicious, such as ube and mango.
The Cloud Bagel, for example, is made with rice flour and bakes up “like a pillow,” says Cynthia Ly, an employee at TOUS les JOURS.
“We only bake the day of,” says owner Esther Yi, and popular items do sell out. Come early to ensure the cases are stocked with customer favorites like caramel apple pie pastry, chocolate-dipped Belgium waffle, and croque monsieur.
“We decided to open in Holly Springs because we wanted to target customers who are not familiar with Asian pastries and cakes,” says Esther. “But as we are trying to introduce Asian pastries, we still have French pastries to make sure customers get what they are expecting in a bakery.”
“We love the caring community Holly Springs has. Customers are excited to have a café/bakery in this community where they can gather.”
Beverages ride the same line between French and Asian options. Consider a creamy cappuccino or an ube matcha latte.
If you’re not enticed by the unique flavors and delicate crumb, then the bakery’s artistry might just elicit a visit. Vibrant colors, fresh fruits, pillowy donuts, and sophisticated cakes prove that the eyes eat first. Here are five favorites to try.
Strawberry Cloud Cake

Pink-hued strawberry cake layered with fresh strawberries and strawberry whipped cream forms a light-as-air dessert that doesn’t overwhelm. Or branch out with the Green Tea Cloud Cake, balancing the delicate, earthy flavor of green tea with layers of sweet cream.
Ube Matcha Latte & Mango Croissant

Ube Matcha Latte
Vibrant ube syrup — made from Filipino purple yams — sweetens matcha in this artfully layered specialty drink. TOUS les JOURS offers a variety of dairy and nondairy milk options to suit all tastes. For a caffeinated kick, try the aromatic Lavender Latte, one of the cafe’s signature flavors.
Mango Croissant
The buttery, flaky, classic croissant gets a sweet upgrade, with “cloud cream” filling and chunks of sweet/tart mango. Cloud cream is the signature filling at TOUS les JOURS, a subtly sweetened whipped cream that has a lighter texture and flavor than buttercream or custard.
Cloud Donuts

Tender, fluffy donuts surround lightly sweetened whipped cream filling. Strawberry is the most popular flavor, says Cynthia. Additional flavors include ube, mango, and chocolate.
For an Asian alternative, try the Red Bean Donut filled with sweetened red bean paste or the Milk Cream Bread.
Foliage Sausage Bread

A uniquely braided savory pastry that wraps sausage in bread dough and tops it with onions, ketchup, mozzarella cheese, and parsley. Think of this Korean bakery staple as a gourmet pig in a blanket.
