While there are plenty of places to attend outdoor concerts and enjoy live music in Raleigh, sometimes it’s nice to have a night out in your own little corner of the Triangle (plus, gas is expensive)! Watch Joe Hero perform at Summer at the Springs, a concert series hosted by the Holly Springs Cultural Center, on Friday, Aug. 5, starting at 6 p.m. Don’t forget your blankets, chairs, and picnic dinners! This is a family-friendly event — concessions and beer and wine will be available to purchase onsite.
For those of you who are willing to drive a little further into Southern Wake, check out The Barnyard Concert and Market, featuring a live concert every Monday night through Labor Day. Hosted by Healing Green Farms in Willow Spring, tickets are only $5 and music lasts from 6-9 p.m. There will be vendors, food trucks, snow cones, a bounce house, misting stations, and everything you need to kick your week off right. Abbey Road Tavern in Apex recently kicked off their summer concert series, featuring live bands outside every Saturday from 7-10 p.m. for the next eight weeks! Grab a burger and beer while you’re there and let the good times roll! The Abbey Road location in Fuquay also offers live music every Friday night starting at 7 p.m.
