Get ready for fun times and unforgettable experiences right here in Fuquay! McWally’s opened its doors on August 22, bringing 42,000 square feet of fun to town. The new entertainment center offers traditional favorites like 60 arcade games, a 5,000-square-foot multi-level laser tag arena, and 20 bowling lanes (including 6 VIP lanes with Spark technology, leveling up the experience with custom game modes and on-lane projections).
McWally’s also brings something entirely new: the Valo Arena, the world’s first mixed-reality playground. Your body becomes the controller for an array of energetic games for 1 to 6 players. Games last 3-5 minutes and provide highlight videos to relive the fast-paced fun.
The onsite restaurant serves a diverse menu — from burgers and wings to mushroom banh mi street tacos, crispy buffalo cauliflower, bacon-wrapped shrimp, and craft pizza. Dine indoors, on the patio, or order laneside service. The full bar offers cocktails, nonalcoholic cocktails, beer, and wine, plus daily drink specials. Military service members, veterans, and first responders receive 10% off food and nonalcoholic drink purchases.
And sports fans, you’re in luck. TVs throughout the facility broadcast all your favorite teams, from MLB, NBA and NFL to college football and basketball.
We managed to snag a few minutes of owner Bryden McCormick’s time to dish about the new center.

What are you most excited about for McWally’s?
I’m most excited about the sense of connection McWally’s is already starting to foster. Our main goal is to create a place where families, friends, and neighbors can come together, whether it’s to celebrate a birthday, mark a milestone, or just enjoy some quality time. It’s about offering the community a go-to spot that feels both fun and meaningful, where real memories are made without having to go far from home. In that spirit, this September, we’re launching a “Month of Giving” — donating a portion of our Sunday sales to local nonprofits and school organizations. Each week will highlight a different cause: Fuquay-Varina High School Athletic Booster Club, United States Veterans Corps, Caroline Ball Family Fund and Willow Spring Storm Booster Club at Willow Spring High School. It’s our way of giving back and strengthening the community that’s already made us feel so welcome.
